Christmas Eve in Santa Fe
Santa Fe is magical at Christmas, with the smell of pinon fires and snow. This gift basket is filled with the traditional Santa Fe holiday foods. For breakfast, whip up some blue corn pancakes drizzled with raspberry syrup (all natural) and a cup of fair trade coffee from New Mexico's Fat Boy roasters. In the afternoon serve the Santa Fe salsa you made that morning using the mix with chips. Dinner calls for a warming up with green chile stew and tortillas. After taking a stroll in the snow whip up some of hot chocolate with the fair trade Mexicano chocolate discs from Taza, (or just nibble on the chocolate) and serve with biscochitos, (traditional New Mexico cookies) and locally made peppermint bark. Then sit back and wait for Santa.
